Is myenergi zappi right for you?
The zappi from myenergi is made in Britain and is the best-known solar charger in the UK. Its Eco and Eco+ modes can charge your car using surplus solar power that would otherwise go back to the grid.
It also works with Intelligent Octopus Go, so on cloudy days you can still charge cheaply overnight. If you've got solar panels, or are thinking about them, a zappi is hard to beat.

Survey and position
We look at your fuse board, supply and parking, from photos or a quick visit, and agree exactly where your myenergi zappi charger goes and how the cable runs.
Safe, compliant wiring
A dedicated circuit with the right protection, plus PEN fault protection as the wiring regulations require, either built into the charger or with an earth rod.
Paperwork done for you
We notify the network operator, register the work for Building Regulations through NICEIC, and give you your certificate.

Can a zappi charge my car from my solar panels?
Yes. In Eco+ mode, the zappi only charges from surplus solar. In Eco mode it tops up from the grid to keep charging going. We fit the sensor it needs as part of the install.
Do I need solar for a zappi?
No. It works perfectly well as a standard smart charger, and you can add solar later.
Can you install a charger I've bought myself?
Yes, we can install any make of charger. Send us the model and photos of where you park, and we'll give you a price to fit it.
Do you set up the app?
Yes. Before we leave, we connect the charger to your Wi-Fi, set up the app, link your tariff, and show you how it all works.
Are your prices fixed?
Yes. Once we've seen your photos or surveyed, the price is fixed. If anything unexpected comes up, we explain and agree it with you before doing it.
Do you take a deposit?
No. You pay once the charger is installed, working and set up, and you're happy.
Can you fit a charger if I park on the street?
Trailing a cable across the pavement isn't safe or allowed. Some councils approve cross-pavement solutions, and there's a grant of up to £500 towards them. Call us and we'll talk it through honestly.
