Intelligent Octopus Go is a smart EV tariff from Octopus Energy. Octopus controls when your car charges and fills it up when electricity is cheapest, mostly overnight, at a much lower rate than your normal electricity.
To join, you need a compatible charger, or a compatible car. Octopus also offers to install chargers, but we'll beat Octopus's advertised price for the same charger and the same standard of installation.
Before we leave, we connect the charger to your Wi-Fi, set up the app and link it to your Octopus account, so you're ready to charge cheaply from the first night. And you don't pay until you're happy.
