We look at your fuse board, supply and parking, from photos or a quick visit, and agree exactly where your Project EV charger goes and how the cable runs.
Safe, compliant wiring

Paperwork done for you
We notify the network operator, register the work for Building Regulations through NICEIC, and give you your certificate.

Why does earthing matter for an EV charger?
The wiring rules require EV chargers to be protected against a rare fault on the supply called a PEN fault. Some chargers handle this internally; others need an earth rod. We'll explain what your home needs on the survey.

Can you install a charger I've bought myself?
Yes, we can install any make of charger. Send us the model and photos of where you park, and we'll give you a price to fit it.

Yes. Before we leave, we connect the charger to your Wi-Fi, set up the app, link your tariff, and show you how it all works.
How much does a home charger installation cost?
It depends on the charger you choose and how far the cable needs to run. Send us a few photos and we'll give you a fixed price. For the same charger and installation, we'll beat Octopus's advertised price.
When do I pay?
Only when the job's finished and you're happy with it. We don't take payment up front.
Do I need off-street parking?
Usually, yes. The charger needs to serve a space you own or have the right to use, so the cable doesn't cross the pavement. If you only park on the street, call us and we'll talk through what your council allows.
