Up to £500 off your home charger
The government's Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) offers grants towards the cost of home chargers. Grant schemes have been extended until 31 March 2027.
As an OZEV-approved installer, we check whether you qualify, claim the grant for you and take it straight off your price. You don't have to apply yourself.
What you need to qualify
Renting?
You need private off-street parking and your landlord's permission to install the charger.
Own a flat?
You need private parking, such as an allocated bay, and permission from the freeholder or management company if you need it.
Own a house with a driveway?
Homeowners living in a house with off-street parking aren't usually eligible for a grant, but a smart tariff soon pays the charger back.
The small print
There are limits on how many grants each property can claim, and the charger must be an approved smart model. We check everything before we quote.

If your question isn't here, call us any time.
How much is the EV charger grant?
Up to £500 for renters and flat owners with off-street parking, and up to £500 for an approved cross-pavement solution where you only have on-street parking. Landlords can get up to £500 per socket.
When does the grant end?
The government has extended its chargepoint grant schemes until 31 March 2027.
Do I apply for the grant myself?
No. As OZEV-approved installers, we claim it for you and take it off your price.
Can homeowners get a grant?
Homeowners living in a house with a driveway aren't usually eligible, but if you only have on-street parking, there's a grant towards approved cross-pavement solutions.
How much does a home charger installation cost?
It depends on the charger you choose and how far the cable needs to run. Send us a few photos and we'll give you a fixed price. For the same charger and installation, we'll beat Octopus's advertised price.
When do I pay?
Only when the job's finished and you're happy with it. We don't take payment up front.
