How we install your GivEnergy charger
Survey and position
We look at your fuse board, supply and parking, from photos or a quick visit, and agree exactly where your GivEnergy charger goes and how the cable runs.
Safe, compliant wiring
A dedicated circuit with the right protection, plus PEN fault protection as the wiring regulations require, either built into the charger or with an earth rod.
Paperwork done for you
We notify the network operator, register the work for Building Regulations through NICEIC, and give you your certificate.
Set up and explained
We connect your GivEnergy to Wi-Fi, set up the app and your tariff, and show you how it all works.

Do I need a GivEnergy battery?
No, but it makes most sense if you have one or plan to. We also install solar and battery storage, so we can design the whole system.
Can you fit solar and a charger together?
Yes. We're MCS certified for solar and OZEV approved for chargers, so we can do both in one job.
Can you install a charger I've bought myself?
Yes, we can install any make of charger. Send us the model and photos of where you park, and we'll give you a price to fit it.
Do you set up the app?
Yes. Before we leave, we connect the charger to your Wi-Fi, set up the app, link your tariff, and show you how it all works.
Will you beat Octopus's price?
Yes. For the same charger and the same standard of installation, we'll beat Octopus's advertised price, and we'll set up the app and link it to your Octopus account before we leave.
What if I'm not happy?
We don't take payment until you're happy, so if anything isn't right, we put it right first.
What if I don't have a driveway?
Most installs need a drive, garage or allocated bay. If you don't have one, call us. We'll tell you honestly whether there's an option for your street.
