No pushy sales, no chatbots, and nothing to pay until you're happy.
Send a few photos
Your fuse board, meter and where you park. We can often quote without visiting.
Fixed price
We recommend the right charger for your car and tariff, with any grant taken off.
Neat installation
Position and cable route agreed with you, fitted by our own NICEIC-approved electricians.
App set up, then pay
We link the app to your tariff, show you how it works, and you pay once you're happy.
What happens on installation day
We agree the position
Before any drilling, we confirm exactly where the charger goes and how the cable runs, and the electrician talks you through it.
Safe isolation
Your power is switched off for part of the installation while we connect the new circuit. We'll tell you before we do.
Fitting and testing
The charger is fitted on its own circuit with the correct protection, then fully tested.
App and tariff
We connect the charger to your Wi-Fi, set up the app, link your tariff and show you how to use it.
Paperwork
We notify the network operator, register the work for Building Regulations through NICEIC and send you your certificate.

If your question isn't here, call us any time.
Will my fuse board need upgrading?
Sometimes. Older fuse boards may not have space or the right protection for a new circuit. We check from your photos or on the survey and include any upgrade in your fixed price, so there are no surprises.
Do you notify the network operator?
Yes. Every home charger has to be notified to the local network operator, National Grid in the Midlands. We do it for you, and register the work for Building Regulations through our NICEIC scheme.
Can you install a charger I've bought myself?
Yes, we can install any make of charger. Send us the model and photos of where you park, and we'll give you a price to fit it.
Do you set up the app?
Yes. Before we leave, we connect the charger to your Wi-Fi, set up the app, link your tariff, and show you how it all works.
How much does a home charger installation cost?
It depends on the charger you choose and how far the cable needs to run. Send us a few photos and we'll give you a fixed price. For the same charger and installation, we'll beat Octopus's advertised price.
When do I pay?
Only when the job's finished and you're happy with it. We don't take payment up front.
